Welcome to the Bellevue Gifted Website
Your resource for all things gifted in Bellevue...
This website is home to a number of gifted groups in Bellevue who are uniting to share information. We have current students and families throughout the District in different programs, as well as alumni, joining together. While there are a number of viewpoints, we all agree on having the right support available for each student. Gifted students have a range of needs, as do families of gifted children!
BGA is building community through outreach and education, and providing tools to advocate for gifted students in Bellevue. We welcome input on how to strengthen this site and are planning to add pages with more resources. Please join in the effort to create a strong gifted community and meet the needs of each child.
Bellevue Gifted Alliance (BGA) is a volunteer organization of Bellevue School District (BSD) parents whose mission is to advocate, build community, and educate on gifted issues through events, website information, and email newsletters. Formed in 2010 as a grass roots advocacy group, BGA became part of the Bellevue Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) Council in 2015 to enhance outreach on education and enrichment initiatives throughout the district. Our membership represents all the district gifted programs, now known as Advanced Learning Services, including self-contained services for elementary, middle, and high school students in designated schools; K/1, domain specific, and differentiated services in neighborhood schools; as well as welcomes other interested students, parents, teachers, staff, and community members.
